  • Emma Schwartz was an AMAZING aid to our wedding day. Her knowledge of the wedding industry and her passion for your special day is so helpful to any bride. Even the unique requests I may have had- she made sure there was a solution. Emma went above and beyond as my day-of coordinator, so much so that I never even had to go to the bar during my reception, since they made sure to keep my glass full when I asked! From our initial meeting, she brought a calm energy to my sporadic ideas. She accommodated my biggest concerns right away, and was super upfront with her process. Emma has an uncanny ability to read the room, and knows when to step in, offer advice, or propose a plan. On my wedding day, it’s like she could read my mind and knew exactly what I needed and when! I was going back and forth debating on hiring a wedding coordinator at all, but I can happily say that Emma was the best money I spent the whole day. There’s a lot of things flying around on your wedding day, but I was never overwhelmed because I knew Emma had my back!

  • Emma is an exceptional wedding planner! From our very first Zoom meeting, it was clear that Emma has a handle on wedding planning and knows the right questions to ask. She was very prompt with her communications and went over and above in all her assistance, including meeting one of our vendors to pick up caramels for our welcome bags! Emma was great at wrangling our wedding party for our rehearsal and had even downloaded our processional, recessional and grand entrance music so we could thoroughly practice. On the day of, Emma and her husband, Billy, were the glue that held everything together. They took our vision and made it real – decorating the tables, setting up our favor display, even helping to assemble our arch and arrange the garland and décor for it. Both my mom and myself had a very specific vision for our decoration and arrived at the venue with time to do it all ourselves, but we didn’t have to. Emma and Billy took everything on and made it all beautiful – to the point even my mom was gushing about the job they did (she’s very particular!). Anything myself, my husband, our family or wedding party needed, Emma and Billy were there to ensure it happened. They kept us to a functional and flexible timeline, ensured we got our meals and beverages and just generally helped everything go smoothly. At the end of the night, Emma and Billy dismantled everything, packed it into our boxes and loaded it into our cars. They even made us a highlight video of our day and a full video of our ceremony! They are truly the best! I was very on the fence about needing a wedding planner, but I am so, so happy that we chose Roanoke Wedding Planner. I would recommend them to any future wedding couple and could not be more pleased with Emma & Billy and the level of service they provided!
